Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health care to patients across various settings and to provide medication management support. This position requires a strong understanding of psychiatric practices, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide ongoing management of psychiatric medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Navigate the required health insurance documentation

Requirements
A Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is required.
Valid Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensure (referably in Maine, but can be completed during onboarding)
Proven experience in managing diverse patient populations is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are essential.
